Track Name: Lime Green
Her eyes are a hue akin to the lime green of her heart.
He speaks the words she'll like and wants to hear,
Until she starts to resent him, falling for his grace and charm.
Unfortunately he offers his arm.

So they continue on in circles and she blinds herself from life,
But adventure cannot substitute for happiness and its pursuit.
Which they both know to be true - in fact, it's a mantra he lives by.
Her eyes were struggling to cope and he's got her on the ropes.

It's time for life.
And if all she ever wanted was a go at modern strife,
She'll trial life.
She'll cry for life, she'll sigh for life.

And she lets him in on secrets, she resorts to her own past.
He'll listen with a calming bent but beckon with a cruel intent.
But she is happy. For once she is glad she has a friend.
With a philosophy built on mistakes, this is one she has to make.

It's time for life.
And if all she ever wanted was a go at modern strife,
She'll trial life.
She'll cry for life, she'll sigh for life.

So they talk and talk for hours, and then laugh and talk some more,
And the talking leads to touching when she thinks about her life again.
She isn't sorry for her fortunes, but then, what are feelings for?
If not to build regret and pain, then at least to dish out blame.

It's time for life.
And if all she ever wanted was a go at modern strife,
She'll trial life.
She'll cry for life, she'll sigh for life.

And if self-destructive tendencies' her brick wall,
She won't stop 'til she's knocked out cold,
Then say to herself it was out of her control.

When her lime green eyes adjust, she'll finally see what she has done.
She has fallen through a simple trap, unredeemable by looking back.
In the meantime, though, she's joyous; "maybe this new one's the one."
For him it's just a hideaway, and he'll move out in a day.

It's time for life.
And if all she ever wanted was a go at modern strife,
She'll trial life.
She'll cry for life, she'll sigh for life.
Track Name: Good Guy
I thought you liked cocky assholes.
That's not my style, but I'll try it just for you.
And now you think I lack self-control,
But it was an act to get you in the sack.

And there's rejection,
And then there's failure,
And then there's blowing up in pieces in the sky,
No lie, I must have needed one more try.

I'm the good guy, I'm the good guy,
Though I tried my best I wasn't bad enough for you.

I lay my cards on the table,
I'm not prepared to change to suit you.
I offered you an ultimatum,
The harshest words I'd ever said to you.

And you can take it,
Or you can leave it,
And if you leave it then it's gone,
So long, it won't be coming back again.

I'm the good guy, I'm the good guy,
Though I tried my best I wasn't bad enough for you.

With lying from the outset,
You'd think I'd nailed it, your taste for pricks, but no.
No, no, no, no.
I didn't treat you wrong.

I still don't like the way you're feeling,
That wouldn't happen on my terms.
But now you're gone, and I'm the villain.
I want to show you that you're wrong.

You won't believe it,
Unless you see it.
But you won't look,
So that's it, OK, it's over, goodbye.

I'm the good guy, I'm the good guy,
Though I tried my best I wasn't bad enough for you.
Track Name: A Self-Destruction Song
I know you know you've hurt me by now,
But the price to pay is small as long as you stick around.
Oh, it's worth the scars and maybe a broken heart if you stay.

And I don't mind if you buck the trend,
Because everything I do has led to this shining moment.
Oh, I'd jump through hoops if only you would ever ask me to.

And I don't want you to think that I am sad,
But did the ones before me leave because you treated them as bad?
Oh, I'll persevere; denial will keep me here with you.

I have a heart where you have a hole,
Oh but that's okay as long as you know,
I know you're better 'cause we belong together.
Track Name: The Best Reason To Visit Winnipeg
The best reason to visit Winnipeg,
(Well, the one that I've been telling you)
Is to see the world, to look for something new.
But if I never come back again,
Then you'll know it's 'cause I've been trying to forget you,
And all of the stress you put me through.

I had a plan to visit Winnipeg,
To escape without telling you,
And later mention how it's just something I had to do.
"There's a whole world," I'd often say to you,
"I cannot miss my opportunity to see what else is there,
To look for something new."
And now you know that was a half truth,
Now you know it's 'cause I've been desperate to leave you,
And all the distress you lead me to.

I've been talking for so long,
About growing up and settling down.
It's not how I pictured, and now I want out.

We can be free again once I'm in Winnipeg.
Well, that's just what I'll be telling you,
When you ask how I am, when you're with someone new.
'Cause what I've done is not undoable.
I can never go back to trying to forget you,
And all the mistakes I made for you.

It's not how I pictured, and now I want out.

The best reason to visit Winnipeg,
(Well, the one that I've been telling you)
Is to see the world; to look for something new.
But if I never come back again,
You'll know it's 'cause I've been trying to forget you,
And all the mistakes I made for you.
Track Name: Jennie, Jennie
Jennie Jennie starts another day,
You're out of my mind because of her.
A temporary answer but it's all the same,
As long as Jennie cuts a new refrain,
I don't have to dream of you at all.

And Jennie Jennie helps me move along,
Now all I can think about is her,
There's never a hard time she can't save me from,
As long as Jennie says the timing's wrong,
I couldn't have managed that before.

How can I look into your amazing eyes,
And feel the hair in the nape of your neck,
And claim that I could never act surprised,
Though the circle always comes round again?
You've got so far to go before you escape from my heart.

And Jennie Jennie I can never wait,
I've been here before because of her,
You're dragging me back to where I had escaped,
The panic and the paranoia newly shaped,
Apparently I needed some more.

How can I look into your amazing eyes,
And feel the hair in the nape of your neck,
And claim that I could never act surprised,
Though the circle always comes round again?
You've got so far to go before I let you from my heart.
Track Name: Audrey's Bones
I would rather have a state of mind,
Of stable peaks and valid troughs,
If it would help me stay in line.
But with over-analysis,
I give myself a solid shot,
At counting eggs I haven't got.

Would you ever call me paranoid,
If I would ask of you to try,
That it might pull me from your void?
Now, with you I'm struck with a fear,
That you will take what you have brought,
Without a second moment's thought.

That's the reasoning that breaks a man,
And leaves him stranded where he stands.
Track Name: Crazy Girl
Her insanity is the biggest part of her charm,
Her teeth are so pretty biting into your arm,
She's a wild thing and a thing as wild as this means you're never calm.
You'd keep an eye out for a girl less fucking deranged,
But you're attracted to the fact that she's batshit fucking insane.

A slice of drama in one's life keeps a good man alert,
And feeling worried for one's safety isn't such a concern,
It is healthy to have passion but since when has passion been so absurd?
You'd keep an eye out for a girl less fucking deranged,
But you're attracted to the fact that she's batshit fucking insane.

Most every other girl has a mean streak hidden from view,
But she is layers upon layers of crazy she shows off to you.
She should be locked away for the things she does to men,
And now you're one of them,
But she has got you in a cage like a pig in a pen,
And now you'll never see the light again.
You fell in love with a crazy girl.
A crazy girl.

Would it be so wrong to find a girl who was actually nice,
Who really liked you without your balls in a vice?
But even painful love is feeling something and it leaves you thinking,
This is the life.
You'd keep an eye out for a girl less fucking deranged,
But you're attracted to the fact that you're attracted to the fact that she is out of her mind fucking batshit fucking insane.
A crazy girl.
Track Name: The End of the Movie
Wherever I've been, whatever I've done,
I've never stopped to think,
So whenever there's a question, things get a little less certain,
I'm not prepared for it.
But it's always been there.
The truth is I needn't have cared or invested my time,
In the search for meaning like I did.

I sought an answer, some validation,
I needed solid ground.
But why would I look from now on for a place I can stand proud on,
Which simply can't be found?
Yet I'll still be here in a week or a month or a year,
If you'll ask me to stay and keep you company,
So ask me, please.

Are you the one I should keep holding tight,
Until the end of the movie's in sight,
Until the world is no more?
Do I have a person reserved just for me,
In a world full of uncertainty,
Or am I clutching at the finest of straws?

I can be happy, and have a good time,
But it takes a little more.
The trick is to keep veering from uncomfortable feelings,
Which drag me to the floor.
It takes some getting used to, but eventually you'll see me prove,
To the world I can stifle the thought we're just here, year by year.

I understand now, I've been abandoned,
By no-one after all.
We're searching for distraction with love, drugs, and religion,
When we could just face the wall.
But I have a plan.
It's not much but it lends us a hand in the fight,
With a lifetime we have to endure evermore.

Are you the one I should keep holding tight,
Until the end of the movie's in sight,
Until the world is but a dream?
Do I have a person reserved just for me,
In a world full of uncertainty,
Or is this just my strategy?
Track Name: Super-Villains Have Feelings Too!
You arrogant superheroes think you rule the world,
Well, just wait until my plan is fully unfurled.
I hate to show you such disdain, but there's nothing I can do.
Super-villains have feelings too.

Girls never seem attracted to the mutated mad-men,
But I chose this look specifically for them.
I don't enjoy to dress this way, you know, I'd rather be more glam.
I'm the super-villain you wouldn't understand.
I am a super-villain no-one understands.

Oh, it's a hard-knock life for the evil genius.
At the last minute you ruin the day,
Every time, in every way.

I'm not implying that the end justifies the means,
But if it validates the ingenuity of my schemes,
It cannot really be all that bad, and if there's one thing you will see,
It's that feelings can survive with villainy,
Yeah, feelings can survive its company.
Oh, feelings, they seem to thrive with villainy.
Track Name: Pinkerton
How can you think when you're talking into your own ears,
When the days run into one, but you're clutching onto 'Pinkerton',
And all you need is a charming man or two or three,
To forget you're not to bother anyway?

Is it the waves that stop you from flying out across the sea?
No, the skies must be your cage. They conspire to keep your feet in place.
You'll see one day, if you've opened up your eyes by then,
That a story's not a story until it ends.

I could be your diary if you would just confide.
A record doesn't listen; it just speaks in repetition then dies.
Oh well, I guess I'll see you at 'Green'.

Your life is fine, or it was until you got off track.
In a matter of an instance, you've tumbled foul of hopelessness,
Just rest assured though you might fall and skin your knee, you'll see,
That's not the kind of girl you'd want to be.

And yet, in your dreams it's much safer that you take a chance,
And awake back in your bed where you've evaded all the consequences.
How cool is that, girl? But it won't get you to where you want,
But to you it's overrated. Happiness.
Track Name: Life Without Gravity
I can't believe this love is happening,
You know it's totally against the odds.
I thought it was doomed from the start,
But you took my heart and you proved it wrong.

Now I'm as happy as a fool in love,
And that is pretty much just what I am.
I'm glad you descended from grace,
'Cause I had lost my faith in humanity.

Gravity won't affect the happy and free,
But this string you have tied onto me,
Will hopefully keep me from floating away.

All of a sudden on a summer's day,
You came and went from my life in a flash.
I had balanced my joy in your hands,
But you turned and ran to another boy.
Now I've been sucked into oblivion,
That's what I get for investing my time,
In the prettiest girl in my life,
If misery's more rife, then I can't complain.

Gravity won't support me now.
It's very little help to all the people it pulls down to hell.
But I can still cling to that string.
It just might save my life after all.

Gravity won't support me now.
It's very little help to all the people it pulls down to hell.
But I can still cling to that string.
It just might save my life after all.
Track Name: The Meaning of Life
Another town can make me feel as though I know her less,
But it's all in my mind.
And when it comes to be the ending of infinity,
I'll have run out of time.

But now I know the meaning of life,
I know how to react.
Even if it takes forever and a day,
I'm gonna win her back.

And I'm not trying to be a messed-up millionaire for free,
These things come at a price.
And when it comes to be the ending of infinity,
I'll have run out of time.

But now I know the meaning of life,
I know how to react.
Even if it takes forever and a day,
I'm gonna win her back.

But now I know the meaning of life,
I know how to react.
Even if it takes forever and a day,
I'm gonna win her back.
I'm gonna win her back.
I've gotta win her back.
Track Name: To Victor, My Spanish Friend in Estonia
Motivate yourself to finally get the hell out of here.
Retain your mental health, but above everything else,
Remember odds are stacked against you,
So whatever you might do, keep your goal clear.
Your chances of success will be impaired if you suggest that,
Everything will work out OK anyway.

To Victor, my old friend, you'll find your freedom in the end if you try.
That's if you try, try, try, I mean you've really got to try,
'Cause Estonia's not a place,
To let its custom slip away or simply fly by.
But with every dream I have you'll one day stumble off the map,
I know everything will work out OK, my friend.

So keep your head up and rearrange your life to survive,
'Cause a hostel in Tallinn can't contain the ambition in your eyes.

You've taken everything; a strategy you'll need to win, so you think.
But the facts you're presenting don't seem at all like the real thing.
Instead, they lack consistency,
And that can truly confuse me, and I don't need that.
You're chances of success will be impaired if you dare to suggest that,
Everything will work out OK.
Track Name: Minibosses and Shy Guys
I think I'd do it all again.
The only question now is when.
And as for you, you'll just be thankful for the change.
It might take more than what I've got,
But at least we'll say we took a shot,
And if we fail, we'll go in a spectacle of flames.

'Cause if someone else might have noticed,
The whole thing might have had a purpose.
We'll be looked upon as doing something big.
And if I leave something behind,
Even a spark in someone's eye,
That's my reward for all the things that I just did.

And in a year I might just ask,
"Have you fulfilled your chosen path,
Or are you trying your best, but you need just one more year?"
I won't hold it against you.
In fact, I may just give you two.
I'd want the same compassion if you were standing here.

Oh, so break the corners of my mind,
Which need someone to analyse,
As if my life was on the line.
Oh, in you I think I've found the one,
Who'll tolerate me 'til I'm done,
And understand that what's inside is not right.

And as with ninety-one percent,
Of everyone I've ever met,
I had a life and thoughts before I learned your name.
It's more than likely that I will,
Once I forget your favourite film,
Find myself free to carry on in the same vein.

But if you have the right effect,
You'll play until the story ends,
And I'll be in the bleachers hoping that you do.
'Cause I've convinced myself, for now,
That it is far beyond my power,
To dictate whether or not I'll be with you.

Oh, so break the corners of my mind,
Which need someone to analyse,
As if my life was on the line.
Oh, in you I think I've found the one,
Who'll tolerate me 'til I'm done,
And understand that what's inside is not right.
